High Cholestrol

`No more roti canai,no more nasi lemak for breakfast. No eggs, scrambled, bulls eye, half boiled or hard boiled ?' `Its okay if you want to eat them, but not so often as you do now. The results of your blood test is not so good.Your sugar count is on the borderline, your b.p.is good.Your heart beat is okay.Your kidneys are good. But your cholestrol level is very high (7.9).That's why you have to refrain from these fatty foods.I suggest you eat more oats and fruit.' She asked me if I smoked,I lied a little bit about that. Well, tomorrow I might start to change my diet and reduce smoking. It's scary but I gotta do it.

Long time no see

Wow, I haven't updated this blog for quite some time. Not feeling bright (no light bulb in my balloon) no ideas. My kids like to download stuffs, and then the maggots came via the Net. No Net connection for a week or so. Waited for my IT savviest son to fix the problem. OK now. All my kids are IT savvy, savvier than me.Shahman is the savviest cos he's taking that course in KL. So,what's up with my brood ? Lina is practising hard for her school English debate. Shafiq is growing taller and hairyer. Hasif can run like crazy. Fadzlil is getting fatter. My wife and I,we fight and then we forget. I always surrender first, for world peace.

Panicky Malaysians

After the petrol and diesel price hike was announced on 27th Feb,what did you do ? Just like a typical Malaysian, you drove to the nearest petrol station, fill up your tanks. Just to save a few ringgit.Never mind the few millilitre you would have burnt, making your way through the traffic jam, going to the petrol pump, queuing and coming back. And in a few days you are going to fill your tank again. So much hassle to save a few bucks. Malaysians are like this.Panic, rush rush, complain. Tomorrow everything's back to normal. Malaysians take a lot of time to absorb the realities. Always lose control of their senses . I am no economist, but I do know that nothing stays cheap forever. The costs of every damn thing will go up and never come down. Only commodities prices fluctuate. So learn to live with it.Be a survivor.Don't be a whiner.
